KAI Students Participated in the International Competition for Winter Fishing
International students of KNRTU-KAI took part in the international competition for winter fishing “Agryz Catch 2021”.
Students from Nigeria, Kazakhstan, China, as well as guests from Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan and Udmurtia participated in the event. Among them were not only expert fishermen but also the ones who had the first fishing experience in their lives at all!
The upscale winter fishing event took place on the Kama River in the Agryzsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan on the weekend.
Representatives from KNRTU-KAI at the international competition for winter fishing were Oladosu Samuel Olavatosin, a Nigerian student of the International Preparatory Department, and Han Changlin, a Chinese student of the technical college of the Institute of Aviation, Land Transport and Energy (IALTE).
“I believe that such competitions will become a good tradition and will be held in our district every year, gathering even more participants from different parts of the world,” – summed up the head of the Agryzsky District Azat Valeev.
